Fargo's Revenue, AKA Rev

Fargo’s Revenue (aka Rev, Revvy, Neuneu, Noonie, the list goes on) was born on April 15, 1997 at 3:42 in the morning. Born to two prized cutting horses – his Sire Fargolena (out of Smart Little Lena and Doc’s Chico Girl) and his Dam Okie Komokey (out of Kim’s Okie Leo and Komokey) – to say the least his family was excited for his arrival. From the moment he was born, Rev was calm and loving, and those traits have stayed with him his entire life.

Rev’s cutting horse career was over before it really began by age 3, since at 15.1 hands, he was just too tall. Rev’s training continued as an all-around horse, learning Western and English disciplines, as well as natural horsemanship from the Dorrance brothers. Growing up with his owner Nicole, Rev always had an affinity for children, and this progressed into working as a therapy horse by the age of 10.

Rev worked with children at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford University under their “Animals as Healers” initiative. As a therapy animal, Rev provided a welcome distraction and helped reduce the stress and anxiety that can accompany hospital stays. Rev’s sweet disposition makes him the perfect therapy horse, and he noticeably enjoys interacting with children. At 23, Rev still loves visiting with kids and providing any comfort he can.
